The process for providing our free energy supply cost comparison service, has purposefully been designed to be straightforward and involve as little of our clients time as possible.
To allow our investigations to begin we need every client to complete a LOA (Letter of Authority) a copy of which can be downloaded here
As the document states this gives us authority to investigate your current contracts on your behalf and in no way establishes a commitment for you to sign any offers we may propose in the future.
The LOA needs to be completed and where possible copied onto headed paper.
Once completed we also require one copy of a recent bill, for each Electricity and Gas meter,
The documents can then be emailed, faxed or posted as per our contact details
On receipt of this information we will ascertain your current contracts status, confirm your contract end date and the date when termination notice must be provided.
Details of the EAC (Estimated Annual Consumption) will also be obtained.
If you are not in any contract or one that expires within a 4 month window we will provide the termination notice to the current supplier on your behalf.
This ensure that you do not get automatically rolled over into a new contract
We will then tender your energy requirements to all of the UK Energy providers via our online systems,
On receipt of the suppliers offers we provide you with a report of the best offers that are currently available for your location and the energy required

To explain the spreadsheet
The top yellow section includes details of the supply and meter concerned the EAC and the current contract end date
The 1st line of the white section contains the details of your current contract
Supplier, contract term, current rate, standing charge and annual total which is the rate multiplied by the EAC plus the standing charge.
The next section then contains the best offers from different providers for this meter.
The final 2 columns show the saving available over the period of the contract in both monetary and percentage terms.
Once agreement has been reached on the best offer for the client we then raise all of the necessary paperwork on their behalf.
Through the supplier change process we will provide clear and regular communication on timescales and meter reading responsibilities you should adopt.
The changing of energy suppliers is a task undertaken hundreds of times a week by our team, without any issues.
But should there be a concern or question, our experienced local team will be available to respond promptly as opposed to clients having to sit on a phone dialling into one of the national suppliers call centres.
Should your current Electricity and Gas supplies be under contract, we will provide you with the relevant information and log your details on our database.
At the appropriate time we will contact you to agree for us to serve termination notice and take you through the process above.
